At Takeonme S.L. we take the privacy of users of the ReservaMe application very seriously. This policy explains what data we process, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what your rights are.

2. Data we process

  • User account: name, email address, Google Sign-In identifier, and optionally phone.
  • Reservations: restaurant, date, time, number of diners, notes you provide.
  • Approximate location: only if authorized by you, to show nearby restaurants.
  • Images: photographs you upload (restaurant cover or gallery) when you are responsible for a restaurant. The app requests camera and storage permission only for this functionality.
  • Conversations with the assistant: messages exchanged with the app assistant to provide suggestions.
  • Technical data: device type, operating system, push notification identifiers, and basic usage metrics.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Provision of the service (account creation, reservations, notifications) — contract execution.
  • Customer support and incident handling — legitimate interest.
  • Service improvement and abuse prevention — legitimate interest.
  • Own commercial communications — consent when expressly requested.

4. Recipients

We do not sell personal data. We only share necessary information with:

  • Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email sending, push notifications).
  • Selected restaurants when you make a reservation with them, limited to essential data to manage it.
  • Authorities when there is a legal obligation.

5. Data retention

We keep data for as long as necessary to provide the service and, after you cancel your account, for the legally required time to respond to potential liabilities. Assistant conversations are kept for a reasonable period to provide you with continuity and improve the service.

6. Device permissions

  • Camera and gallery: only when uploading photos when creating or editing a restaurant profile. Images are associated with the restaurant, not your personal profile.
  • Location: optional, to show nearby results.
  • Notifications: to inform you about the status of your reservations.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access control, backups). No platform is infallible; please protect your password and notify us of any incident.

8. Your rights

You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, limitation, and portability by writing to info@takeonme.es. If you consider that we have not addressed your request, you have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos in Spain).

9. Minors

ReservaMe is not intended for users under 14 years of age. If we detect an account from a minor without parental authorization, we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will always publish the current version at this same URL. If changes are substantial, we will notify you within the app or by email.
